FIFF

During my internship at Volontiers, I fully dedicated myself to the FIFF (Fribourg International Film Festival). Daily tasks involved multiple responsibilities, including graphic design, managing social media, and creating reels throughout the event. Additionally, I produced several video recordings for the aftermovie, as well as the conception and production of videos for the opening and closing ceremonies. Finally, the dynamic mashups created before the festival to showcase the films rounded off this very enriching experience.

Opening FIFF

As part of the Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF), I had the opportunity to conceive and direct the festival’s official opening sequence at Eikonlab. Under the guidance of Thierry Jobin and Volontier, who introduced us to the theme Murder & Mystery, we explored an immersive narrative concept where time becomes a key element of the story.

Together with Anouk Geimoz, Évolène Lavanchy, and Rebecca Schull, we staged a sequence in which the same location is seen at different moments: first marked by the crime, then by the arrival of law enforcement. This play on chronology deconstructs the event and immerses the audience in an intriguing atmosphere before the films presented by the festival.

As part of the FIFF, I created a series of dynamic mashups to showcase the festival's cinematic richness. These rhythmically edited videos seamlessly blend film excerpts, striking visuals, and captivating soundtracks, offering viewers an instant immersion into the world of international cinema. The goal? To inspire and encourage audiences, within just a few minutes, to explore all that the festival has to offer.
